GLZ Youth Squad

We are the Greater Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church Youth Squad. 

 

 

Our goal is to teach and learn about God, Christianity, individuality, education, and the arts. We participate in anything that can benefit our kids! Our kids learn about theatre, music, technology, and even animals!

 

 

Before Hurricane Katrina, we had a huge and active drill team. 6 years later, we have started it back up. 

 

 

Since 2011, we have been participating in field trips (drill competitions, the Apple Store, and community service projects), fundraisers (we've participated in Louisiana Lemonade Day 2013, 2014, and 2015), and practices to get our drill team back up and running.

 

 

Our main component is our drill team, but we wish to teach the kids whatever they want to learn. If they want to learn about drawing, photography, music, fashion, or technology, it will be taught to them.

 

 

Our main lesson is that "Only what you do for Christ will last". These kids are amazingly talented and full of drive and energy! God has given these kids so many gifts, and it's time for the world to see them.
